For many of us, the biggest portion of our carbon footprint comes from the fuels we burn to drive our cars, heat our homes and power our appliances.
SO WHAT CAN WE DO? It is hard to imagine we stop using energy completely or that we can make the switch over to clean energy by tomorrow. We can however use less, be more efficient with the energy we use, and investigate alternative sources of energy to power our lives.
Actions can be as simple and inexpensive as remembering to unplug chargers and turn off the lights when you leave the room to home energy retrofits.

The Caledon Cares Enviro Challenge is a year-long challenge for Caledon residents and employees to take action to reduce their impact on the environment in a series of areas of their lives – to be a part of a collective community effort!
With the support of the Town of Caledon and Caledon businesses, participants will be rewarded for their actions. All participants gain recognition and can win prizes!!
