For many of us, the biggest portion of our carbon footprint comes from the fuels we burn to drive our cars, heat our homes and power our appliances.
SO WHAT CAN WE DO? It is hard to imagine we stop using energy completely or that we can make the switch over to clean energy by tomorrow. We can however use less, be more efficient with the energy we use, and investigate alternative sources of energy to power our lives.
Actions can be as simple and inexpensive as remembering to unplug chargers and turn off the lights when you leave the room to home energy retrofits.
Want to learn more about all the different ways you can make your home more energy efficient? Join ecoCaledon at our upcoming networking event on Saturday September 30th from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Albion Bolton Community Centre in Bolton and learn from experts and neighbours with first hand experience.
We will be joined by the TRCA, the Town of Caledon, contractors and more…
