Caledon Public Library, Caledon Chamber of Commerce and the Metamorphosis Network Partner to Host All-Candidates Meetings.
Caledon residents will have three opportunities to hear directly from municipal election candidates this fall, thanks to a partnership between Caledon Public Library (CPL), the Caledon Chamber of Commerce, and the Metamorphosis Network.
Together, the three organizations are hosting a series of non-partisan all-candidates meetings ahead of the Monday, October 26, 2026 municipal election, giving residents the chance to learn more about the candidates, hear their perspectives on local issues, and make informed voting decisions.
The meetings will be moderated by Sean Meagher, Coordinator of the Metamorphosis Network:

Mayoral Candidates – Thursday, September 24, 7 p.m. at the Caledon East Community Centre Banquet Hall, 6215 Old Church Road in Caledon East

Local & Regional Candidates – Wards 4, 5 & 6 – Thursday, October 1, 7 p.m. at Caledon Public Library’s Albion Bolton Branch, 150 Queen Street South in Bolton

Local & Regional Candidates – Wards 1, 2 & 3 – Monday, October 5, 7 p.m. at Caledon Public Library’s Margaret Dunn Valleywood Branch and Collaboration Studio, 20 Snelcrest Drive in Caledon
Residents are encouraged to explore the Inform Your Vote portal, submit questions for candidates by September 20, and learn more about the all-candidates meetings by visiting caledon.library.on.ca/elections. Questions may be suggested for one or more of the all-candidates meetings.

In addition to the all-candidates meetings, Caledon Public Library has created a non-partisan online hub that brings together reliable election information and civic learning resources. The Inform Your Vote portal includes information on how to vote, ward boundaries, candidate questionnaires, and other tools to help residents prepare for election day.
Caledon Public Library developed the Inform Your Vote portal independently as part of its commitment to civic literacy.
