Hello My Good friend and neighbour,
She was born on 12 May 1820 in the Italian city of Florence
spearheading a new standard of health care for generations to come.
They say strength and softness don’t usually go together – then you
meet a nurse.
Nurses Week 2026 and the “Power of Nurses to
Transform Health” is really about that balance: tolerate everything,
understand everyone, and somehow leave things better than you found
them.
This week, as we honour and celebrate all the Nurses who have directly
or indirectly impacted our lives, let us all take this day, this week, to awaken the NURSE Spirit in us all!
