Caledon OPP appealing for witnesses following collision on Hwy 10

Officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are appealing for witnesses following a collision on Highway 10.

On August 18, 2026, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 10, south of Old School Road, in the Town of Caledon. As a result of the collision, one driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Highway 10 between Old School Road and Highway 410 was closed for several hours while the investigation was underway.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is asked to contact Caledon OPP at 1-888-310-1122. You can also provide information anonymously by contacting Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.peelcrimestoppers.ca. When you contact Crime Stoppers, you stay anonymous, and you never have to testify.
