Looking for a big and delicious breakfast or a hearty lunch in a unique setting in Caledon? Look no further!

Nestled on the grounds of the Brampton-Caledon Airport, at 13691 McLaughlin Road just south of King Street, is one of Caledon’s best kept secrets.

The Brampton Flight Centre (BFC) restaurant and café is fully licensed, has seating for 80 plus an outside patio, and offers you the very cool experience of dining beside the runways. If the winds are right, you can watch small aircraft taking off and landing while you dine.

The atmosphere at this fun Caledon eatery is warm and friendly, and the food is reminiscent of home cooking, flavourful with generous portions.

You can refuel with comfort-food favourites like grilled cheese, pea meal bacon on a bun, chicken Clubhouse and pulled pork sandwiches. Just to make it more interesting you’ll find sandwiches that bear names like the McPilot, the Piper clubhouse and the P51 Mustang.

Burger lovers will not be disappointed. Check out the Supersonic burger or the A380 hot hamburger. You’ll also find a Veggie Burger and a Grilled Veggie wrap on the menu. There are yummy salad choices for lighter appetites and seniors.

If you are a breakfast-for-lunch fan you will be thrilled to know that breakfast is served right up until the 3:00pm closing time. Love Eggs Benedict? There are an impressive seven versions!!

You may even decide to round out the experience by visiting the Great War Flying Museum or having a look at Humphrey’s Pilot Shop.

So, when you are out and about on your next Caledon adventure why not turn a hearty breakfast or a lazy lunch into a cool experience in itself?  This is one stop-over you really should add to your next trip’s itinerary.

Open seven days a week from 8:00am until 3:00pm. There is lots of free parking. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. If you wish you can call ahead 905-838-1400 ext. 244
