Green T wins award from Friends of the Credit

Green T board members (r. to l.) Sue Carter, Michelle Fruendt, Amanda Squire, and Kay MacDuffee, join Patti Foley as she accepts award from Foundation Chair Pat Mullen

An exciting moment I just have to share! Green T Environmental Awareness, a group I started with a single meeting  just over 2 years ago, received a Friends of the Credit Certificate of Merit Award this week. The Award was for our environmental speakers series and our monthly newsletter Green Thoughts, all of which raise awareness for the environment, including the Credit River of course, in the Caledon area. Green T membership numbered well over 100 at the end of 2009 calendar year and (apparently) we really rock! Kay MacDuffee gave us a blushing amount of praise  in her column in last night’s Caledon Enterprise: http://mycaledon.ca/countryroads
