Caledon Public Library Hosts ‘Creating Your Charitable Legacy’

Written by Patti Foley

Are you passionate about your community and want to learn how you can create your own charitable legacy? Join Caledon Public Library (CPL) as they host an informative presentation by Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation (BACCF) on Thursday, November 28, 7 p.m. at the Albion Bolton Branch.

Learn about what a Community Foundation is, how to create your charitable legacy through a Community Foundation, supporting your choice of charities in perpetuity, the tax benefits of donating to a Community Foundation, estate planning and more.

“By creating your charitable legacy through Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation, you are planting the seeds for a better today, tomorrow and future,” said James Boyd President and CEO of Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation. “You are playing an important role in supporting charity and philanthropy within your own community.”

Established in 2002, Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation is a public, charitable, independent community foundation. BCCF has 99 endowment funds with an approximately $9.4 million portfolio awarding grants made across all charitable sectors including social services, education, arts and culture, environment and animal welfare.

Register today for BACCF’s November 28th presentation at your local branch or at caledon.library.on.ca
