The Caledon Community Road Safety Advocacy (CCRSA) Group was formed by dedicated and caring Caledon community members who wanted to create a space for residents to stay informed, share concerns, and engage with each other about important local traffic safety issues.

CCRSA invites you to join them for the 2nd Protest Against the Illegal Truck Yards. The group is organizing this protest against what they believe is illegal land use of a property on the west side of Albion Vaughan Town Line that they fear is in the process of becoming another illegal truck yard. While Albion Vaughan is a dividing road between Vaughan and Caledon, with the west side of the road lying in Vaughan, they correctly point out that activities on the site will impact Caledon residents and drivers.

Details

Date: Thursday, October 24 at 5:30PM-6:30PM

Where: At the corner of Albion Vaughan Town Line and Dovaston Gate

They remind folks to dress for the weather. As well please wear BRIGHT clothing and wear a safety vest if you have one. Some vests will be provided but they do not have enough for everyone.

The group also requests that you please leave children at home for safety reasons as there is no side walk. They say the OPP will be advised in advance of the protest.
