4-H Ontario is proud to announce Nikki Intranuovo as the new Director, Youth with the Ontario 4-H Council. Nikki will be responsible for bringing the views and issues of the 4-H youth to the Ontario 4-H Council discussions and assisting with the development of the 4-H Ontario program.

Nikki was appointed to the role of Director, Youth at the 2025 Ontario 4-H Council Annual General Meeting that took place virtually on Thursday March 19. She will serve in the role for a minimum of one year, though may choose to hold the position for a two-year term.
“The nominating committee was very impressed with the many experiences that Nikki has had with 4-H and other organizations. She believes it is important for youth and adults alike to be willing to learn from one another to reach success. She wants to ensure as 4-H Ontario moves forward, that we are hearing youth and what they would like to see and experience in 4-H. The Ontario 4-H Council could not agree more and welcome Nikki to the role!” says, Laurie Farquharson, Nominating Committee Chair, Ontario 4-H Council.
Nikki has spent a decade with the Peel 4-H Association where she has completed 149 4-H projects and participated in multiple provincial and national opportunities including Youth Adventure Camp, Go For The Gold, Career Mania, Future Leaders In Action, Provincial Leadership Camp and National Members Forum. In addition, Nikki has held several leadership roles with her 4-H association and other organizations including the Erin Agricultural Society, Caledon Agricultural Society and Peel Dufferin Plowmen’s Association Queen of the Furrow.
“Having participated in projects in [different associations], I have seen how 4-H operates in different ways to suit different audiences and have created a network across Ontario of 4-H youth to share their experiences,” says Nikki. Nikki shares that she is eager for the opportunity to enhance 4-H’s accessibility and advocate for 4-H youth and their needs in a respectful and constructive way.
