Caledon Meals on Wheels (CMOW) is pleased to invite the community to a special screening of Silver Screamers, a heartwarming and spine-tingling documentary that follows a group of spirited seniors as they step far outside their comfort zones to create a horror film.
The screening will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Albion Bolton Community Centre (150 Queen St S, Bolton). Tickets are $25, with snacks included, and are available at www.cmow.org or by calling 905-857-7651.
Directed by Sean Cisterna, who was born in Bolton, Silver Screamers celebrates creativity, courage, and the power of storytelling at any age. Following the screening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with the director, offering a chance to hear more about the film and the inspiration behind it.
“This film really captures something we see every day in our work,” said Kim Rodrigues, Executive Director of Caledon Meals on Wheels. “Older adults have incredible stories, talents, and a willingness to try new things. We’re excited to bring the community together for an evening that is both entertaining and meaningful.”
The event is part of CMOW’s ongoing efforts to create opportunities for connection, reduce social isolation, and highlight the contributions of older adults in the community.
