Caledon Meals on Wheels and the Caledon Seniors Centre are pleased to share that we are exploring a closer partnership to better support older adults and seniors across our community.
Both organizations have a long history of serving Caledon with compassion, dedication, and a shared commitment to enhancing quality of life. As the needs of our growing and aging population continue to evolve, we believe this is the right moment to look at how we can work more closely together – strengthening programs, improving coordination, and ensuring that residents receive the best possible support.
Over the coming months, our boards and leadership teams will be engaging in thoughtful discussions to identify opportunities for collaboration. This may include exploring shared services, coordinated programming, and new ways to streamline access to supports that help people live well, stay connected, and remain independent. This is an exploratory process, and no decisions have been made. Our priority is to ensure that any future steps reflect the best interests of the people we serve, our volunteers, our staff, and the broader Caledon community.
We look forward to keeping the community informed as this work progresses. We are excited about the potential to build an even stronger, more integrated network of services for Caledon’s older adults. For now, both organizations will continue to operate as usual, and all current programs and services remain unchanged.
Together, we are committed to building a healthier, more connected Caledon.
