It’s a fantastic annual Caledon adventure and a great way to greet summer’s final approach! Get ready to check in at the Brampton Flight Centre (BFC) at the Brampton-Caledon Airport on Sunday September 7th for Airport Day, a day filled with fun and excitement for all ages.
Grab the family and plan to land at the airport at 10:00 am to find a bouncy castle, face painting, Airport Tours, a trackless train, and captivating birds of prey demonstrations.
Everyone will enjoy live music by Now and Then, and marvel at the display of Antique Aircraft and Automobiles. When it’s time to fuel up you can indulge in the variety of food trucks or dine-in at the fully licensed BFC Restaurant Cafe.
The goal of Airport Day is to promote the education and wonder of aviation through hands-on activities and exhibits with flight instructors and pilots. These experts can also provide you with lots of information about the Centre’s training programs, flight camps for kids and air cadets.
Explore various exhibitors, interact with the Auxiliary Police and Caledon Fire Department, and treat yourself to some ice cream.
Want to take to the skies? You can take part in $50 per person sightseeing flights.
Interested in aviation history? Be sure to stop by the Great War Flying Museum featuring WWI Military Re-Enactors for a historical experience and to see their vintage aircraft up close. Entry to the Great War Flying Museum: $10 for adults, kids under 12 are free! $20 for a family (up to 4 paying adults)
This year BFC is supporting Caledon Community Services (CCS). As part of this initiative, they kindly ask you for donations of non-perishable food, baby essentials, or monetary contributions to support CCS.
