On Thursday June 5th, royal assent was given to Bill 5 and Bill 17. That day changed Ontario: our democracy, rule of law, due process, endangered species & species at risk, labour law, health & safety legislation, municipal authority and First Nations treaty rights are under attack by these egregious bills.
Bill 5 & 17 aren’t about protecting Ontario from Donald Trump’s tariffs. They are a power grab which gives unprecedented power to Doug Ford and his cabinet. We aren’t going to let this happen.
ecoCaledon, GASP and HeadwatersStopsThe413 invites you to rally on Saturday, July 12 at 1pm at Mill Square Park in Orangeville to tell Doug Ford and Sylvia Jones to repeal these horrific bills.
We forced Ford to back down on the Greenbelt, to repeal Bill 23 and standing together, we will force Ford to repeal Bills 5 & 17.
