From the Town of Caledon…
The Town of Caledon reminds you to keep a few restrictions in mind for the Canada Day long weekend. The Town strictly prohibits fireworks on public property, parklands and parks, including roadways and sidewalks. Fireworks can only be set off on Canada Day (July 1, 2017) and are restricted to private property. Disregarding the by-law will result in a fine.

Caledon Fire & Emergency Services administration offices: Closed Monday July 3, 2017
Caledon Public Library (all branches): Closed Saturday July 1 and Sunday July 2
Open regular hours Monday July 3
Recreation facilities: All recreation facilities closed Saturday July 1
Open for usual rentals and programs Monday July 3
Summer camps kick off Monday July 3
Animal Shelter: Closed Saturday July 1 and Sunday July 2
Open 9 a.m. to 12 noon Monday July 3
Revised Waste Collection Schedule:
The Region of Peel advises that there will be no waste collection on Monday, July 3 due to Canada Day. Waste collection will be one day later that week.
All Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) will also be closed on Saturday, July 1 and Monday, July 3 and will reopen for regular operating hours on Sunday, July 2 and Tuesday, July 4.
