The Achill Choral Society Presents: Illuminare

Submitted to Just Sayin' Caledon

Achill is a community choir that serves the Caledon, Dufferin and New Tecumseth areas.

This spring, Achill is proud to present the Ontario premiere of Elaine Hagenberg’s exciting new work, “ILLUMINARE.”  This stunning and inspiring piece takes us through a season of beauty and goodness that has been disrupted by darkness and confusion. But as light gradually returns, hope is restored, illuminating our future and guiding us in Peace. Continuing the themes of joy and hope, we’ll perform a delightful collection of folk songs arranged by Bob Chilcott, Robert Smail, Steven Hatfield, Donald Patriquin and Paul Halley’s “Song For Canada.”

Please join us for an afternoon of uplifting music under the direction of Shawn Grenke and accompanied by collaborative pianist Nancy Dettbarn.

Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 4:00 pm at Westminster United Church, 247 Broadway, Orangeville.9

Online tickets are available at or for cash only please at Forster’s Book Garden (Bolton), Papermoon (Alliston) and BookLore (Orangeville); $30 Adults, $15 Youth.
