Caledon Meals on Wheels is proud to once again partner with local Tim Hortons restaurants for the annual Smile Cookie campaign, running April 27 to May 3, 2026. During this week-long initiative, guests can purchase the iconic Smile Cookie – a soft, chocolate chunk cookie topped with a hand-decorated pink and blue smile – knowing that 100% of proceeds stay local, directly supporting Caledon Meals on Wheels and the seniors and individuals it serves.
Now in its 25+ year legacy, the Smile Cookie campaign has raised more than $150 million for charities and community groups. Last year alone, the campaign raised a record-breaking $22.6 million in support of over 600 local charities.
“This campaign is such a simple but meaningful way for people to support their neighbours. Every cookie purchased helps us provide nutritious meals and connection to seniors in our community. It’s incredible to see how something small can have such a big impact locally” said Kim Rodrigues, Executive Director Caledon Meals on Wheels.
Funds raised locally will help Caledon Meals on Wheels continue delivering nutritious meals, social connection, and wellness checks to seniors and individuals across Caledon and surrounding communities, supporting people to live safely and independently at home.
The organization is also encouraging the community to get involved by placing bulk cookie orders (with free local delivery available) and volunteering during the campaign week. And while it’s not officially confirmed, there are rumours that CMOW’s beloved blue monster may be making appearances, especially where cookies are involved.
