Town of Caledon 2014 advanced voter turnout strong to date; More advance voting opportunities to come
In the Town of Caledon, the first two advanced voting opportunities have led to strong voter turnout. Percentages shown below are based on “Count”, or number of eligible voters in the Ward(s). A total of 3.52% of eligible voters have already placed their votes.

This represents an increase over 2010, when after two advanced voting opportunities, 1320 or 2.89% of voters had placed ballots, and over 2006 numbers when just 376 people voted in the first two advanced polls.
Advanced voting opportunities are excellent for citizens who wish to avoid the Election Day “rush”. All advanced voting locations are equipped with accessible voting methods. Two more advanced opportunities taking place before Election Day:
Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, October 24, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. (noon) to 8:00 p.m.

Voters are reminded to bring identification and voter cards. Residents may vote without a voter card, but must present identification showing name and qualifying address in the Town of Caledon.
