Stormwater Management in Caledon

Stormwater
Written by Patti Foley

THE STUDY:

The Town of Caledon has initiated a Stormwater Management Master Plan Study. The Study will document the status of existing stormwater management facilities in six (6) settlement areas within the Town, and explore opportunities for stormwater management measures to improve drainage and water quality within urban core areas and at receiving streams and watercourses.

THE PROCESS:

The project is being undertaken in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (2007) process as a Master Plan under that Class EA.

The Public Information Centre will be held to describe the results of the Town of Caledon Stormwater Management Master Plan Study and the draft stormwater management strategy being recommended.

At the completion of the study, a final report will be made available for a 30-day public review period.
