SPECIAL OLYMPICS TORCH RUN KICK OFF EVENT

On June 13, 2014 members from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will kick off the annual Torch Run for Special Olympics. This year Holy Family School and Allen Drive School will be participating. In 2013, over 600 students, teachers and parents participated in the event which raised over $1,500 for the Peel Region Special Olympics.

The event is planned for an 11:00 am kick-off and a BBQ in the Zehrs parking lot. The purpose of this event is to raise money for Special Olympics of Ontario in support of the 2014 Special Olympics Summer Games being held in Vancouver BC from July 8th to the 12th.

Please join us on Friday, June 13th at 11:00 am at Holy Family School.
