Bolton Regional Councillor Good to Know

Sorry for the Long Absence

Happy Friday evening folks. I’m so sorry for my long absence.  As many of you are aware my Mom collapsed mid-Dec and passed away 11 days later. We are still finding it all very surreal, it seems impossible that she’s gone. Thank you so much for all the emails, cards, flowers, cookies, lasagna and hugs – it all helped more than you know.

Belated thank you’s as well for all the wonderful Birthday (Jan.2nd) wishes and cards. Life is slowly getting back to some sense of “normal” following Mom’s passing. I’ve been V-E-R-Y busy this month at both Town & Regional Councils with Budget Meetings and citizen committee applicant interviews peppered among regular meetings and briefings. I love being busy so it’s all good.

Thank you for your memo. Our sincerest condolences on the passing of your mother. Sad it is. She knew your accomplishment and you can know How proud she would be. Well done.

  • Welcome back Patti. It is always a difficult time when we’ve lost someone in our life, most especially when it is an adored family member/parent. I a m happy to see that you’ve endured and surely you will perpetuate the memory of your mother as you honour her with all that you do.
