THINK GLOBAL…SOURCE LOCAL
Entrepreneurs are the heartbeat of the economy. They help drive community, provide employment opportunities and often fund local charitable initiatives. Who helps the entrepreneur? WE DO!
The second annual Small Business Summit, held during National Small Business Month, is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and business owners to drive business forward… Learn from global experts, share expertise with others, garner new connections, customers and contacts on the trade show floor and attend interesting and innovative workshops headlined by business leaders and innovators.
The inaugural event was an unparalleled success. This year the bar is being raised even higher. A new venue will host the 2017 Small Business Summit at the Caledon Community Complex, a venue beside Caledon Town Hall and easily accessible for all. Most importantly, all vendors will be located on one massive trade show floor. Keynote speakers will address the audience directly from the show floor, while game-changing workshops with industry leaders and innovators will run hourly from 8am to 5pm.
This singular B2B event is designed to drive business growth, knowledge and sourcing opportunities for entrepreneurs and small business owners in the key GTA rim communities of Peel, Dufferin, Simcoe, Halton Hills and York Region. Federal, Provincial and Local government representatives will all be on hand to help your business connect with the right resources and tools necessary for success. Explore funding opportunities and more with the BDC.
In other news, the Small Business Summit is excited to announce that this year, we will be joined by the Rotary Club of Bolton, which is hosting the Opening Night Charity Gala in support of an important initiative for young women right here in our community.
“The Rotary Club of Bolton is proud to partner with the Small Business Summit to provide a platform for professional development of local entrepreneurs”, says Don Ogden, Club President. “This will be a good opportunity to meet directly with small business owners to share ideas and information. Proceeds from the opening night Business Achievement Awards & Gala will be dedicated to the TRCA program ‘Girls Can Too’ which provides young women with hands-on learning experiences related to construction and ecology.”
The Small Business Summit is your point of access to new partnerships, creative business solutions and business building opportunities. It’s your gateway to success.
