The Town of Caledon is conducting a Streetscape and Urban Design Study of the Airport Road corridor within Caledon East from approximately Cranston Drive to approximately Huntsmill Drive.
This project will be incorporated into the Region of Peel Airport Road Reconstruction project which is underway. You can read the key recommendations of the Region’s EA – which included lane reductions and roundabouts – here.
Town of Caledon staff invite you to join in on a local walk for the Airport and Old Church Road intersection to share your thoughts and ideas.
Site-walks will be held over two days and a two-week survey. The same questions will be asked during the site-walk and will be made available through HaveYourSayCaledon.ca and at the front desk of Town Hall during business hours.
The information collected from the walks and survey will help inform the first phase of the Caledon East study being done by the Town that follows the Region of Peel study on how the lands within the area could be redeveloped, including improved streetscape and urban design features.
