The Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is pleased to announce that chosen Caledon students will have the opportunity to participate in our fourth annual, “Shop with a Cop!” event.

On Saturday, December 19th, several deserving Caledon students will have the opportunity to spend time with a member of the Caledon OPP shopping for Christmas gifts for their families.  Each student will be provided with a $100.00 gift card graciously donated by local businesses and schools.

After Christmas shopping, the students will be transported to Robert F. Hall Secondary School followed by breakfast and other festivities.

“We are pleased to continue with our tradition in assisting the youth in our community, especially at this time of year.  This special event is very popular with our members, civilians and Auxiliary officers.  A recent fundraising event held at Garden Foods assisted with our fundraising efforts.

A second event is planned for December 12th at the same location.  A huge thanks to the generous residents of our community in contributing to our event,” chairperson of Shop with a Cop! Detective Constable Karen Medeiros.
