This week in Bolton’s lovely Dick’s Dam Park, along the banks of the Humber River, local residents once again will be treated to a performance by the Humber River Shakespeare Company. As in past years you are all welcome to grab a blanket or folding lawn chair and come out and be entertained during evening’s twilight by this talented cast. This year’s performance is MacBeth.
MacBeth. Prophecies…..madness…..ambition….blood. The Humber River Shakespeare Company invites you to bring your family, your friends, a picnic, a blanket, and witness swords clashing, witches enchanting, madness and mystery entwining, and war drums pulsing.
For two nights only (July 10 and 11) you can see MacBeth at Dick’s Dam Park on Glasgow Road; the performance starts at 7:00 sharp so get there early and grab a good spot. Admission is by donation of whatever you wish to pay.
