Ready for a 2-Lane Roundabout?

Are you ready to drive in a two-lane roundabout?

The Region of Peel is currently constructing two-lane roundabouts in the Bolton area. These roundabouts are located on either end of the new Emil Kolb Parkway which will provide a bypass route around Bolton’s downtown core (see map below). The King St. roundabout will open June 1st, with the roundabouts becoming fully operational upon the opening of the Emil Kolb Parkway later this summer.

As these will be the first two-lane roundabouts in Peel, the Region of Peel is working to familiarise Bolton area residents with the principles of driving in two-lane roundabouts.

The Region of Peel is offering free interactive sessions that cover how to drive in a two-lane roundabout and common errors to avoid. The sessions will take place:

  • Thursday May 28 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Albion-Bolton Community Centre
  • Tuesday June 2 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Rotary Place, Bolton
  • Wednesday June 17 from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Albion-Bolton Community Centre

Register to reserve your spot by calling 905-791-7800 extension 4409.

Bolton businesses are also invited to contact the Region of Peel at 905-791-7800 extension 3379 if you would like a 30-minute roundabout session delivered to your employees.
