Powering Down

Old batteries
Written by Patti Foley

The Region of Peel is collecting single-use household batteries from the curb in March and November. Place your A, AA, AAA, C, D, 9 volt and button cell batteries in the battery collection bag that arrived in the mail or use a zip-lock bag if you didn’t receive it. Find more details and the collection schedule HERE

If you miss the date you can take used batteries to any branch of the Caledon Public Library or to a Region of Peel Community Recycling Centre (CRC) for proper recycling.
