Police Week – Calendar of Events
Police Week (May 11 to May 17, 2014) is about celebrating professional, accountable and effective policing across the Province of Ontario. Police Week provides opportunities for police and the community to join together to celebrate policing and talk about the public safety issues that affect the health and safety of our communities.
Police continue to emphasize the importance of community mobilization and community engagement as a critical component of building safe and healthy communities. That’s why the 2014 Police Week theme is “Building Community Partnerships”. The Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has already many partners that we work with on a daily basis but continue to seek other community partnerships to enhance our work.
