WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR WASTE COLLECTION IN CALEDON IN DEC and JAN

Exemption Periods: There is an Exemption Period the weeks of December 21st 2015 and December 28th 2015. The Maximum 2-Bag limit does not apply during an exemption period. There is no maximum amount of acceptable waste you can put on the curb on your scheduled collection day.

Christmas Trees: Christmas Tree pick up is the week of January 11th 2016

Ready to Roll: Starting the week of January 4th 2016 only waste set out in the NEW carts will be collected.

Old Bins: You can use your old bins around your property if you desire or take them to your Community Recycling Centre (CRC). Also, there will be a pick-up of the old bins on designated dates in spring 2016.

Collection Dates: Collection dates will be changing for many starting January 4th 2016. For example, Caledon “A” route changes from Thursdays to Tuesdays.

Alternating Pick-up: With the new programs Garbage and Organics are collected one week; Recycling and Organics the next.
