Members of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have confirmed two deaths in an ongoing investigation in Bolton.
Officers were called to a residence on True Blue Crescent shortly after 6:00 p.m. on May 9, 2023, where two people were located deceased.
While the cause of death cannot be confirmed at this time, investigators believe there is no imminent threat to public safety. The OPP reminds all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times.
The investigation is continuing by the Caledon Detachment Major Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, and with the assistance of OPP Forensic Identification Services in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. The investigation is still in its early stages and no further details can be released at this time. Residents of the area should expect to continue to see an increased police presence.
