OPP Seeking Assistance

OPP LOOKING FOR THE ASSISTANCE FROM THE PUBLIC

The Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has had sightings of a suspicious vehicle in the Village of Bolton. The male driver appears to be approximately 40 to 50 years of age with a tanned complexion. The male has been observed around school yards and community parks. The male operates a white construction style van with affixed ladders.

Police are requesting parents to speak to their children about “stranger danger” and to report anything that appears suspicious in nature. Children need to be reminded not to accept any candy, gifts or a ride from a stranger.

Police are asking anyone with information in relation to this vehicle or the driver to please contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You can submit information online at www.peelcrimestoppers.ca. Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display and you will remain anonymous. Being anonymous, you will not testify in court and your information may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.00.
