Bolton Regional Councillor Good to Know

Nominate a Great Volunteer

Nominate a volunteer – “There are angels among us”

The Town of Caledon is pleased to announce that nominations are currently being accepted for the “2014 Caledon Volunteer & Citizen Achievement Awards”.

If you know a volunteer who has represented their organization and the Caledon community in an extraordinary manner, recognize their dedication with an award nomination. Organizations may wish to consider nominating small groups (i.e. committees within an organization), or individuals who have contributed a significant number of years.

All nominations are reviewed by a selection committee, and selections will be based on Council-approved criteria. Individuals who are selected to receive awards will be officially notified, along with their nominator, and will be invited to attend the awards celebration. The “2014 Volunteer & Citizen Achievement Awards” will be held on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Caledon Community Complex.

Nomination forms and details of the award criteria may be obtained from the Town of Caledon website at www.caledon.ca/recreation or at your local recreation centre. For more information please contact 905.584.9254.
Nominations are due by 4:30p.m. on February 1, 2014.
