By now you may have driven by the amazing new mural that adorns the south- and west-facing walls of 1 Queen Street North in Bolton’s downtown core.
The mural is the latest creation of artist Blaze Wiradharma. Blaze is also known around town for the colourful Humber River themed mural on the underpass of the Queen Street bridge that he painted roughly a year ago. You can read JSC’s story about Blaze, who says he picked up his first spray can at about age 14, here
The four corners mural is titled “In Bloom” and is meant to showcase the diverse flora that is native to Ontario. The blooms are accompanied by bees and butterflies – that provide crucial pollination for plant life.
