After a review of the organization’s current and future requirements, numerous changes at the Town of Caledon were announced today regarding the implementation of a corporate realigning initiative. The changes focus on the upper management structure of the organization.
“The Town of Caledon has experienced rapid growth over the past number of years and that trend is certain to continue. This leadership realignment ensures the Town’s key business areas are aligned with current and future needs of the community,” stated Town CAO Mike Galloway.
The realignment brings the current department structure of eight to five key portfolios: Community Services, Finance & Infrastructure Services, Corporate Services, Strategic Initiatives and Human Resources (see attached organization chart).
“Town Council, at the beginning of our term, knew changes were required to better support an effective and efficient delivery of service now and into the future. The changes made this afternoon by the CAO and his management team will place a greater emphasis on customer service, as the organization looks to improve its delivery of service to the community we serve,” stated Mayor Allan Thompson.
The changes are effective immediately.
