Audio of Town of Caledon Council Now Available

The Town of Caledon is now publishing audio versions of Council meetings.

Available at caledon.ca/council, recorded audio versions in .mp3 format are posted along with agendas and minutes on the Council calendar.

“I am pleased to announce that our Town can now offer our residents the ability to access audio files of our council meetings on our town website. Finding new and creative ways to keep Caledon residents informed remains an area of focus, and this is just a first step in our initiative to keeping our community engaged,” said Mayor Allan Thompson.

The audio version of Council Meetings is another method to increase accessibility for residents who now have the flexibility to listen to the proceedings from the comfort of home.

“Council and staff will continue to investigate tools to broadcast council meetings to residents, and we are looking forward to expanding this program,” said Mayor Thompson. “I can tell you that in a Town as vast as Caledon, engagement can present a challenge, but one that we want to tackle head-on. I hope our residents take the time to listen to Council; stay tuned for more.
