Bolton Regional Councillor Good to Know

Kids of Steel Triathlon in Caledon this weekend

A message from C3’s Barrie Shepley and Stewart Barclay about an exciting event in Caledon this weekend!

Dear Caledon Parents:

A great Caledon Tradition occurs this coming Sunday June 8th. The C3 Kinetico Kids of Steel Triathlon will be this Sun June 8th at the Mayfield Arena and Pool Complex. This is the 14th year in a row that C3, Stewart Barclay and Barrie Shepley have helped bring our community’s youth & families together.

Registration closes this Friday evening, so we would ask that you register your family as soon as possible on the C3 website. There are categories as young as 3-6 years of age, and 2 year categories all the way up to the 20s. There is also an adult pool triathlon wave as well.

Additional reasons for coming this weekend is the chance to meet some local Olympians and International Athletes. Sochi Winter Olympians Jake Holden and Brittany Webster are local Caledon residents and are excited to meet you and your family. Recently C3’s Andrew Yorke was just named to the 2014 Commonwealth Games Team in Scotland. Andrew and his C3 team-mates,
Taylor Reid, Sean Bechtel and many other international athletes will be at the race all day to meet families. You can see race distances, starting times and registration information on the C3 website at
