The annual Bolton Rotary Haunted Hill Run has become a spook-tacularly popular family fall adventure. And it’s time to register right now for this year’s event!
Runners and walkers have their choice of route. The Fun Run is 1 kilometre around a paved walkway through the park next door to the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness. Participants get a free medal.
Looking to set your pace in a setting of rustling leaves and fall breezes? The 5-kilometre run/walk will take you from the Centre, via a few north hill streets, to the groomed trails of Bolton Camp.
Work up an appetite? There’ll be pancakes, hot dogs, beverages and snacks for hungry bellies.
Whichever route you choose this event has established a reputation for being ghoulishly great fun for kids of all ages. And it’s the perfect opportunity to give this year’s Halloween costume a warm-up so be sure to dress for the occasion.
The positive benefits certainly don’t end with a bit of exercise and family fun because Bolton Rotary uses all proceeds from this event for local youth programs such as Caledon Kids First, Humberview Alphadogs and Alphapups, Student Awards programs, and local sports teams!
Want to join in the fun? The Bolton Rotary Haunted Hill Run/Walk takes place on Sunday, October 25.
