Imagine Plan Play
Written by Patti Foley

The Town of Caledon’s Parks and Recreation team wants to hear from you. We’re reaching out to the community to find out what your vision is for the future of parks and recreation in Caledon.

Did you know…..

The Town of Caledon maintains 71 parks, 47 playgrounds, 43 sports fields, and over 40 km of trails visited by over 30,000 people last year?
There are 12 recreation centres that provide programming to over 1.2 million visitors annually?
As a host community to the 2015 Pan/Para Pan American Games, we have a new community hall at the Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave?

We want to hear from you!

Over the next two months you will have an opportunity to have your say.

The Parks & Recreation Department is working with MHBC Urban Design and Consulting to gather information and make recommendations for the future of parks and recreation in Caledon.

Together we will be reaching out to you through our website, social media, workshops and by telephone survey.

Watch for the Open House meeting in your ward. We encourage you to share your ideas and be a part of the planning process.

Tell us what you would like to see in our recreational facilities.
What services do you take advantage of now? What would you like to see that we don’t currently offer?
What is your vision of a healthy community and how do we keep Caledon active?
How do we deal with the financial impacts of increased services?
Should we do more corporate partnerships, sponsorships and accept naming rights?
