Bolton Regional Councillor Good to Know

How Big?

REALLY big! Starting tomorrow you will see some extremely big girders on their way through town. Headed for the BAR (Bolton Arterial Route) project these girders are destined for the bridge over the West Humber River. I believe the longest one will be in the vicinity of 132 feet in length. The first group is scheduled to be entering at the north end of the project on Hwy 50 near James Dick, tomorrow. The remaining girders are scheduled to come in across King St and up Duffys Lane, Wed to Fri and then next week on Mon and Tues. Rain on Wed could impact the scheduling slightly. Most timeframes are between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Looking forward the BAR being completed and the positive impacts that will have on Hwy 50/Queen St through our town!
