The Bolton and District PROBUS Club is part of PROBUS Canada which has over thirty thousand members with PROBUS clubs in communities in all ten Provinces. PROBUS Canada is part of PROBUS International which has over four hundred thousand members worldwide.
Club members are typically retired or semi-retired men and women living in the Bolton area. We meet at ten on the second Thursday of every month at the Albion Bolton Community Centre to hear presentations on subjects of interest to our members, make new friends and renew existing friendships. We also from time-to-time make visits to places and events of interest to our members.
The Thursday March 9 speaker presentation will be given by best-selling author (Orphan “32”) Thanh Campbell who will tell us of his experiences being air-lifted out of Vietnam just before the fall of Saigon, being adopted by a Canadian couple and his return to Viet Nam to seek-out his family roots. Mr. Campbell is an outstanding speaker and comes to us much recommended by other PROBUS clubs to whom he has made this presentation.
The Bolton and District PROBUS club is delighted to welcome guests to its monthly meetings at no charge and warmly invites guests to become members of their flourishing club.
