The Government of Ontario is undertaking a coordinated review of the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, the Greenbelt Plan, the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan and the Niagara Escarpment Plan.

All are invited to participate in a workshop to share their ideas and listen to the views of others on improving our Provincial land use plans.

Date: Thursday, March 26, 2015

Registration and Open House: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Workshop: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Location: Royal Ambassador Centre

  • Among the mountains of data produced by the current Ontario Government’s “Places To Grow” process there are some notable omissions of research focus, such as mapping areas of cultural heritage importance and defining key ecosystems (i.e. not just high producing farmland).
