GreenBiz Caledon Climate Partnership Program

Submitted to Just Sayin' Caledon

The Town of Caledon’s Business Attraction and Investment team along with our Energy & Environment team have partnered with Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA)’s Partners in Project Green to deliver a program for businesses to support them with greening their operations, reducing costs, and contributing to their community.

As part of the workshops and walk-throughs, we will be connecting participants directly with available incentive programs to help them reduce their energy costs faster. The program is also free for businesses to participate in, so it’s a great opportunity to take action.
The GreenBiz Caledon Climate Partnership consists of:

•       Four (4) capacity building workshops on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, saving energy, and installing eco-friendly landscaping to reduce your climate change risks
•       Site walk-through assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings, GHG emissions reductions, and climate resilience for up to 10 eligible businesses
•       Action-oriented resources to help businesses customize a plan and implement at their own pace
•       Guidance and support to access available funding opportunities

Workshops are free and open to all businesses. Site walk-through assessments are available for up to 10 eligible businesses that have a non-residential facility located in Caledon.

First workshop is coming up on November 22nd | 7:30 am to 10:00 am at the Albion Bolton Community Centre, 150 Queen Street South, Bolton:
– Identifying GHG Reduction Opportunities

This session will be in-person and feature an educational presentation and a business panel.
