With the arrival of warmer temps, sunnier days and the end of another school year just around the corner, the Humberview Co-operative team has been reflecting on some of our placements this past year which have continued to shine through all conditions to support our student’s learning.

Twilight Signs in Bolton is one such placement that both literally and figuratively embodies the Co-operative Education process of experience, reflection and application in everything they do.

Since the Fall of 2022 Twilight has trained eight different Humberview students providing skills in everything from manufacturing/fabrication, electrical, industrial, graphics and digital media to accounting and project management all under the guidance of wise, caring and seasoned technical craftspeople.

They have demonstrated steadfast commitment to building practical skills in life and the workforce and are helping students make informed decisions towards their next steps. Whether continuing education in college/university and/or straight into a meaningful career beyond high school, Twilight is paving the way.

Inside of Twilight Signs facilityOwner Bill Houston has supported our graduating students through awards sponsorship and many of our students have gone on to work there after their placements have ended in part-time, full-time and summer employment. We’re most grateful for this partnership.

A very special thank you to Bill, Alison, David, Renee, Fyzal, Paul, Eugene, David J, Drew, Satinder, Sabrina, Martin, Anthony, Yufang and the entire Twilight family who continue to give their time and patience in support of our students’ learning and success.

We would also like to thank our students both alumni and current including Marco, Ashley, Phillip, Vlad, Manjot, Sim, Harsh and Kingston for representing our school with pride and dedication. Amazing work team!
