Bolton Regional Councillor Caledon Election

From Ducks to Dora

Sunday afternoon my husband and I stood on the bridge in Dicks Dam Park and listened to squeals of laughter from the kids with whom we shared the space, and those who lined the banks, smiling parents in hand. The Annual Duck Race is a lot of fun and those little yellow ducks sure provide a lot of entertainment for $5.  This year the Bolton & District Lions Club teamed up with the Bolton Kinsmen to produce the event; a wonderful example of combining volunteer efforts, and resources, to build community.

And how do you get from Ducks to Dora? You head on up to Albion Hills Conservation Area on July 1st to celebrate Canada Day. There’ll be everything from live music to magic shows to hay rides to (you guessed it) a Meet and Greet with Dora the Explorer.  So grab the kids and grandkids and get set to enjoy Canada Day in Caledon!
