Submitted to Just Sayin' Caledon

Effective April 12th, following the closure of schools and licensed before and after school child care programs, the Region of Peel began offering emergency child care for essential workers during the Declaration of Emergency and Stay-at-Home Order.

The emergency child care services are reserved exclusively for school-aged children of eligible health care, and other essential workers, who have no other child care alternatives and are required to report to a work site. If eligible, there is no fee for the family.

To determine your eligibility, view a list of providers and locations (there are currently 2 in Caledon), and to apply visit https://www.peelregion.ca/coronavirus/childcare/apply/
