Festival Mulled Wine Jelly Canning Bee – Sunday, November 18, 1:00pm- 5:00pm, Palgrave Community Kitchen, 34 Pine Avenue. As the holiday season draws near, don’t miss this opportunity to stock your pantry with delicious homemade gifts to bring to your next holiday gathering. At this workshop, hosted in partnership between Toronto and Region Conservation and Eat Local Caledon, participants will learn how to make festive mulled wine jelly from scratch. From choosing wine and spices, to preparation and canning, this hands-on workshop will guide participants through the process of making their own jelly. We will also make homemade wheat crackers. The Eat Local Caledon youth entrepreneurial program (HAYville) will be at the Palgrave United Church’s annual Christmas Bazaar selling cookies, squares, salsas, pickles, jams, homemade crackers, root vegetable chips & more! This event features a huge variety of crafts and food items available, and is a perfect place to find unique holiday gifts.
