Bolton Farmers’ Market has a new location and time for 2014
Market relocated to increase community vitality
The Bolton Farmers’ Market, formerly known as the Caledon Farmers’ Market, has been relocated to Mill Street, Bolton. The Market opens June 14, and operates every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The opening day party will include family activities and games, as well as live music, crafts and, of course, food.
A section of Mill Street, located off Queen Street (Highway 50), will be closed to traffic between Queen Street and Chapel Street.
“This relocation allows us to work with downtown businesses and the Bolton Business Improvement Area (BIA) to build a stronger business area, while fostering greater community engagement,” said Jith Dravin, Manager of the Bolton Farmers’ Market.
Dravin and his team have worked to secure some of the best local farmers and vendors, guaranteed to give the community an assortment of fresh and local food and crafts. “Bolton Farmers’ Market is where the choices you make decide the outcome of your well-being with food that is fresh, home-grown and nutritious.”
