Bolton Regional Councillor Good to Know

Dinner, Drinks and a Murder Mystery in Bolton

Had a yummy start to the day enjoying the Bolton Sea Cadets Pancake Breakfast. This dedicated group puts on a spread of pancakes and sausage for just $5.00 on the third Saturday of each month at Bolton United Church.

The Bolton Sea Cadets is a non-profit organization that works to enrich our community by encouraging responsible citizenship among our youth. Their program includes sailing, canoeing, leadership skills, education, first aid, camping, fitness, community service, winter sports, parade marchs, and more. Cadets learn these skills plus develop self-confidence, self-esteem and teamwork.

Always creative, the Bolton Sea Cadets/Caledon Navy League has planned a fun and unique fundraiser coming up on October 13th. A Murder Mystery Night on Saturday October 13th offers cocktails, a 4-course dinner, and a mystery involving The Comedy Works and…..you! Dinner guests will be incorporated into the crime, and the solving of the crime. All inclusive for $95.00 per person with proceeds going to this wonderful youth organization.

We have a growing group of friends attending; want to join us? Contact Harold Janes at 905-533-1960

  • Thank you everyone for making the Caledon Navy League’s first Murder Mystery a success.
A special thank you to the kind people for donating the gifts for our free draws
Serenity on the Hunber , Wicked Shortbread , Rock star Music School , Emily Krbec Photography, and the one and only Patti Foley. Patti has been a great supporter from the start and we thank you. For those that never knew ,Mayor Morrison and Councillor Thompson as well as Regional Councillor Foley were in attendance. The Navy League never singled any of these guests out to make speaches for a reason. The reason was we just wanted them to have a great evening with their friends and family and not be put in the spot light. They deserve that from time to time. Hope you all had a great time. The guy that was killed was our very own training officer Sub Lt (n) Stark. Thank you sir you did a great job dying. Caesar’s Event Center , you guys were great. Thank you. The food and service was second to none. Last but not least the Comedy Works actors. You guys were awesome.
Hope to see every one again next season. In the words of the great Arnold ”We will be back”
