Cuppa: A Poem by Carol Good

Steaming mug of tea ion table at sunrise
Written by Carol Good

After one sip shoulders drop
Bergamot fills the nose
Heat hugs the tongue

Who the heck was
Earl Grey anyway
After one sip shoulders drop

Ritual reverence
Bliss with a sip
Bergamot fills the nose

Taken clear
Not even lemon
Heat hugs the tongue
