Many thanks to eagle-eye friends Diane and Nora who noticed the incorrect date in the 2015 Provincial Plans Review Open House announcement that went out earlier. The correct date is Tuesday May 13th NOT May 17th. I have posted a corrected notice below.
Open House: 2015 Provincial Plan Review (May 13, 2014)
The Niagara Escarpment Plan (NEP), Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan (ORMCP), and Greenbelt Plan are all up for review by the Province in 2015. In preparation for the provincial review, the Town of Caledon is conducting its own assessment of these plans.
Your Chance to Have Your Say…
Planning staff would like to hear from Caledon’s residents, landowners and businesses, in advance of the provincial review, on how these provincial plans have changed the way you live, work and play in Caledon.
Come learn what they are, why they affect you, how to have your say
Caledon is hosting an informative presentation and engaging round-table discussion on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the Caledon Community Complex in Caledon East from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm (open house session 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm).
Why is This Important to Caledon Citizens?
The review of these plans is important as parts of Caledon lie within the Niagara Escarpment Plan, Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan, and Greenbelt Plan.
The provincial review will work to address challenges, capitalize on opportunities, and ultimately seek to strengthen the effectiveness and relevance of these plans. Your insight and input is critical for us to capture a broad range of Caledon-specific perspectives on these three provincial plans.
