A small town with proximity to trails was a definitely a selling point for my family when we chose to call Bolton home. This combination of urban conveniences and easy access to nature is something to treasure and Councillor Mezzapelli and I have made it our mission to try to acquaint other families with, in particular, the Humber Valley Heritage Trail as it winds along the river through Bolton”.
Each year, as Ward 5 Councillors, we host spring and fall guided hikes that offer a great opportunity to become more familiar with the trails. We invite you to join us on Sunday June 16th departing at 10:00 am from the municipal parking lot on the northeast corner of Stern and Ann Streets in the downtown core. Highlights of this 2 hour hike will include the new Rivers Edge pathway, Dicks Dam Park and bridge, Bolton Mill Park, returning through a portion of the historic section of downtown.
